Of particular importance is White and Yellow bastion, finished in 1809.

White bastion is a tower on the road Dariva - Mošćanica altitude on the eastern elevation of the Sarajevo's valley. It was built on the place of a medieval fortress, built around the 1550. The upper part of the bastions in huge stone blocks, was built in the Austro-Hungarian period. The tower was of great importance for the defense in the attack of the Austrian Prince Eugene of Savoy in the 17th century, and of the Austro-Hungarian army in 1878.
