2102
Last night, starting at 20:00 pm, at the 'Figure' studio, there was a concert of the female vocal group Corona, which celebrated 20 years of existence on this occasion. In the crowded studio, between performances each of which is rewarded with a thunderous applause, the audience had a chance to hear the experiences from the members of Corona regarding the work in this ensemble. These ladies, in their charming and funny way, managed to captivate the audience that evening.
The female vocal ensemble Corona was founded under the name "Sarajevo snowflakes" by Slobodan Kovacevic - Dodo, during the war in 1992. The ensemble operates as a section of the Academic Cultural Center of the University of Sarajevo "SELJO". Corona cherishes the traditional music of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, and at their concerts at home and abroad presents our cultural and artistic heritage.
Tijana Vignjevic, graduate conductor, took over management of the ensemble in 1997. Today in Corona ensemble along with Tijana perform Maša Miskin, Anida Isanović, Vanesa Sijerčić, Dunja Kazić, Adelita Rizvanović, Ajla Smajlović, Esma Sulejmanagić, Renata Kurtalić, Darja Softić- Kadenić.
